Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage – sometimes called “Swedish massage” – is a natural, holistic approach to stress relief. The smooth, flowing style of this type of massage uses very gentle manipulation of the skin, promoting relaxation in the entire body. It is for relieving everyday stress, loosening any general tension in the muscles, and giving a feeling of overall well-being. 

Relaxation massage is not intended to work on any conditions that people have, such as chronic neck pain, back pain, old injuries from sports or automobile accidents, limited range of motion in the neck, arms, or legs, etc. If you would like any of these conditions treated we recommend you book in for a remedial massage.

Soothing Stone Massage

A Soothing stone massage, or warm stone is a form of alternative therapy similar to other traditional massage types. An ancient practice going back thousands of years, it actually uses basalt stones formed from cooled lava. These stones are then pre-heated to specific temperatures and then laid on specific points across the body. This helps to ease muscle tension and rejuvenate soft tissue. Massage techniques will then be used in conjunction with these hot stones to help further amplify effects.
